Jack B. ‘Mello Yellow’ Alexander

Jack B. Alexander “Mello Yellow,” age 62, of Maryville, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2012, at his home. He was a member of the 25 Year Club at ALCOA and was a Deacon at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Anna Lou Alexander. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Dixie Alexander; sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Tracie Alexander, John and Susan Alexander, and Donnie and Amanda Alexander; grandsons, Jud, Colter, and Weston Alexander; special cousin, Jerry Snoderly; special friend, Jim Caldwell “Big Foot.” Funeral Service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, August 11, 2012, in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Greg Long and Rev. Gary Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 3736 Tuckaleechee Pike, Marvyille, TN 37803.
