Jack Eugene Godfrey Jr. passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Mary Godfrey. Survived by daughter, Candice Hamil; and grandchildren, Mikhail Morton and Allyssa Blankenship; brother, Robert Godfrey; nieces Rebecca and Mary Godfrey; nephews, Randy and Ronnie Reed; great-nephews, David and Shawn Godfrey; the Payne family; and beloved friends, Chief and Pinky. Memorial service to be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 24, under the Shed at Smoky Mountain Harley Davidson. Ride over the Foothills Parkway to the Gravel Pile directly following the service.
