James Cooper
James Cooper, age 68, of Maryville, joined his Heavenly Father Thursday, January 17, 2013. He was a brick mason and a lover of old Westerns. He was a member of West Maryville Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Beulah; brother, Max; and sisters, Sue Whitehead and Mary Ruth Galbreath. He is survived by his wife, Margaret “Peggy” Cooper; sons, Mitch Cooper and Joel (Deena) Cooper; daughters, Linda (Frank) Woody and Donna (Rufus) Rogers; grandchildren, Susan (Eric) Hatcher, Amber (Jonathan) Watts, Megan Woody, Cory (Amelia) Rogers, and Eric Grimm; special grandchild, Jordan Cooper; great-grandchildren, Michael and Kaylee Watts and Kenslee Rogers; adopted grandchildren, Cassi and Ty Hylwa; sisters, Francis Whitehead, Virginia (Dean) Jennings, and Barbara Milsaps; best friend and companion, Cody; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home. Funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, January 20, 2013, at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev.
