James Kendel Buckner, age 75, of Rockford, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2013, after a long illness. He is finally asleep in peace and rest. James is survived by his wife of 56 years, Wilma Buckner; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Mu Youssefi; daughter, Ann-Marie Romines; grandchildren, Chelsey Charon, Talena Grubbs, Sheena McClain, Jeremy Youssefi, Misty Daniels, Josh Youssefi, Christopher and Kim Conner and Rebekah Youssefi; great-grandchildren, Alaina Charon, Anthony Grubbs, Jalynn Daniels, Isaac Grubbs, Alasandra Grubbs, Ezra Grubbs, Jeremy, Kristopher, Alex Caleb and Elizabeth Hanson and other family and friends.
