James Mitchell Fain
Mitchell Fain was born on 11-30-56 and went to be with the Lord on 1-12-13, after a hard fought battle with Pancreatic Cancer at his home in Lenoir City, TN. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Janice L. Fain, and two daughters, Jessica Nicole and Megan Lee Fain. He is also survived by his parents, James and Marilyn Fain of Ooltewah, TN, and brother, David Wesley Fain and wife, Patsy Fain of Inman, SC; in-laws, Jack and Geneva Lee of Ooltewah, TN, along with several nieces, extended family and friends. He was an avid sportsman and loved the outdoors. Some of his favorite outdoor activities were fishing, turkey and duck hunting, and sporting clays. He was a successful entrepreneur and his prior businesses included: Service Master of Myrtle Beach, Service Master of Charleston, Snap-On Tools, and Pirate Tools in Knoxville, TN. He was easily recognized for his Pirate Tool truck which could be seen driving around town sporting the pirate symbol earning him the nickname “Pirate” from some of his customers. The arrangements will be handled by Click’s Funeral Home, Lenoir City, TN. The receiving of family and friends will be held at First Baptist Church Lenoir City, 2085 Simpson Road, Lenoir City, TN. Monday, January 14th, at 4:30 with funeral services to follow at 7:30 p.m. Dr. Dick DeMerchant of Lenoir City, Rev. Chris Gaither of Ooltewah and family friend Dean Powell of Knoxville will be officiating. Graveside services and interment will be held January 15th in the Fain Family Cemetery, County Road. #415, Manilla Chapel Road, Englewood, TN at 11 a.m. Per his request, instead of flowers, please send memorial donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Cancer Research.
