Jerry R. Cowan
Jerry R. Cowan, age 59, of Seymour, passed away suddenly Tuesday, November 20, 2012. He was an avid sportsman who loved hunting and fishing, Jerry loved his family dearly and gave all he had to his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Georgia Cowan; brother, Bobby Cowan; nephew, Shawn Caldwell. Survivors: brothers, Jack Russell, Jimmy Cowan, Donnie Cowan, and Ronnie Cowan; sisters, Linda Wilkerson, Peggy Sebring Turner, Betty Suddath, and Phyllis Smith; several nieces and nephews, and many special friends. Funeral service 11 a.m. Sunday in Atchley’s Seymour Chapel with Rev. Gary Cowan and Ronnie Cowan Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Ellejoy Cemetery.
