Jo Cledith Rowland
Jo Cledith Rowland, 85, of Louisville, went to heaven March 8, 2013. Jo was born to the late Frank and Annie McKeehan on September 13, 1927. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, the late Rev. A.J. Rowland, 10 brothers and sisters. Jo was a loving and devoted mother and a devout worker in her husband’s 50 years of Baptist ministry in Knoxville, Maryville, and Mobile, Ala. She was a member of Zion Chapel Baptist Church in Louisville. She is survived by her son, Ricky Rowland; daughter and son in law, Tami and Dr. Don Yager of Knoxville; three grandchildren, Missy Roberts, Shelly Rowland, Haley Yager and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. The family and friends will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Funeral Home in Maryville to process to Louisville Cemetery for a 2 p.m. graveside service. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2013, at Zion Chapel Baptist Church in Louisville with the Rev. Jim Malone officiating.
