John H. Shinlever

John H. Shinlever, 73, passed away Sunday, March 3rd, at home in Maryville. He was a native of Knoxville and was of the Baptist faith.Preceded in death by parents John Henry and Georgie Vann Shinlever; brothers, Oscar, Bus and sister, Irene. He is survived by wife, Linda H. Shinlever of Maryville; sons and daughters in-law Morgan and Julie Shinlever, Mike and Julie Shinlever, David and Christy Shinlever; daughter and son in-law Kathy and Bill Coppenger and daughter Jan Tallent; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grand child; brothers, Gene, Dallas and sister and brother in-law Betty and Joe Byrd; several nephews and nieces including Jerry and Debbie Wise. Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 669, Knoxville, TN 37901-0669 or Smoky Mountain Animal Care Foundation, P.O. Box 7218, Maryville, TN 37802. Receiving of friends will be at McCammon-Ammon-Click Funeral home in Maryville Tuesday March 5th from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. With a private burial on Wednesday. http://www.mccammonammonsclick.com
