Karen Hope Crisp
Karen Hope Crisp, 61, of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was faithful to her church, sang in her church, and a woman of faith. She was a descendant of Cades Cove. She was a loving wife, mother and mamaw. She was preceded in death by her father, Herman Garland; brother, David Garland; sister, Judy Garland. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Marvin Crisp; children, Brian Jones, Angie Haney, Betty Click, Jason Jones, and Tim Crisp; nine grandchildren; mother, Mable Garland; brothers, Wesley Garland, Tim Garland; sisters, Pat Payne, and Sandra Ritz. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Friday at RIO Revolution Church with Pastor Pacer Hepperly, and Rev. Ronnie Hepperly officiating. The family and friends will meet at Prospect cemetery at 11 a.m. Saturday for a graveside service. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the church.
