Lee H. (Dee) Teffeteller
Lee H. (Dee) Teffeteller, age 88, of Walland, passed away Monday, April 23, 2012, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Miller’s Cove Missionary Baptist Church. Lee retired from ALCOA after 40 years and was a member of their 25 Year Club. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in World War II for two years. Lee was a loving husband, grandfather, and great-grandfather and will be greatly missed by all. Preceded in death by grandson, Kenneth Lee Teffeteller. Survivors include wife of 67 years, Allene Teffeteller; sons and daughters-in-law, James Teffeteller, Kenneth and Linda Teffeteller, and Danny and Vicki Teffeteller; grandchildren, Sarah Price and husband Blake, Kim Teffeteller, Mark Teffeteller and wife Kimberly, and Misti Beaver; great-grandchildren, Amanda and Donnie Alexander, Zach Price, Sean Beaver, Jami Beaver, and Hailey Teffeteller; very, very special great-granddaughter, Katlyn Gass; brothers, Clay Teffeteller and Wadie Teffeteller and wife Lilian; sisters, Susie Hatcher, June Wilburn, and Betty Russell; many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Rex Everett and Rev. Gary Thomas officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2012, at Rocky Branch Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
