Lennis Ford
Lennis Ford, age 70, of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at the family home. He was a member, deacon, and treasurer with Faith Baptist Church with over 40 years of faithful service. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, who will be deeply missed by those he leaves behind. Preceded in death by parents, Dennis and Edith Ford. Survivors include wife of 49 years, Edna Ford; daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Kevin Gibson of Maryville; son, Jason Ford and Barbara Van Gennep of Knoxville; grandchildren, Gabe Ford, Anna Grace Ford, Samuel Ford, Caleb Gibson, Cole Gibson; one great-grandson yet to be born; many other family and friends. Special thanks to the doctors and staff at Hospice. Memorial service will be at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. C.M. Titlow officiating. Family and friends will assemble for inurnment at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his honor to your favorite charity.
