Lester Guy Gerry
Lester Guy Gerry, 65, of Townsend, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2012, at his home. He was known for riding around on his tractor and helping people, he was a very likable person. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Vietnam Era. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Barbara Gerry; sons, Michael, and Raymond; sister, Sandra Cutting; grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at Friendly Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Fate Greene officiating and the U.S. Navy will supply military honors.
