Madge Ethel ‘Midge’ Anderson
Madge Ethel “Midge” Anderson died Friday, February 1, 2013, at Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville after an extended illness. She was born in Knoxville, but had lived in Maryville for several years. Midge was preceded in death by her parents, Thurman Bryan Anderson and Ruth Aileen Bowman Anderson; her grandparents, Vance Lee Anderson, Ruby Clara Johnson Anderson, Frank Bowman and Melvina Ann Russell Bowman. She is survived by her sister, Sandra Marie Anderson Lang; brother, Frank Cordell Anderson; her very best friend, Charles Chaney. Midge attended Lincoln Park Elementary, Christenberry Junior, and Fulton High. She was a member of Oakwood United Methodist Church. Midge was a very kind and caring person. No services are planned.
