Martha Bogle Badgett Ryan
Martha Bogle Badgett Ryan, age 92, of Maryville, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012, at Blount Memorial Transitional Care. She was a member of New Providence Presbyterian Church and was retired from Crum and Blazer Insurance with 30 years of service. She was very dedicated to her family and especially to her daughter, Susan. She loved to hike and was in a ladies hiking group. Martha will be greatly missed at Blount Memorial Transitional Care where she spent the last six years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Woody Ryan; parents, Samuel “Joe” and Ada Henry Badgett. Survivors include her son, Robert Woodrow Ryan and wife Debbie of Friendsville; daughters, Susan Gayle Ryan of Lenoir City, and Ann Ryan of Maryville; granddaughter, Jennifer Ryan Bell and husband Danny of Atlanta, Ga.; great-grandson, Beckom Ryan Bell; special friend, Irma Miser. Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Monday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Emily Anderson and Rev. Victor King officiating. Family and friends will meet 11 a.m. Wednesday at Magnolia Cemetery for the interment service.
