Mary Elizabeth ‘Libby’ Gibson
Mary Elizabeth “Libby” Gibson, age 83, of Maryville, passed
away Friday, January 25, 2013. She was preceded in death by parents, Hubert and Ellie Miles;
stepmother, Betty Miles; brothers, Billy, Jimmy, Junior, Emmet, and G. R. Miles; son-in-law, Gary
Cable; and brothers-in-law, Harold Whitehead, James Lewelling, and William Tipton. She is survived
by her husband of 65 years, Addie Gibson; daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca and John Isaacs,
Dorothy and Mike Cooper, Karen and Kenneth Huffstetler, and Cindy Cable; grandchildren, Jeff Isaacs,
Michael Cable, Josh Cable, Dale Huffstetler, and Chris White; five great-grandchildren; brother,
Johnny Miles; sisters, Marie Tipton, Brenda Lewelling, and Shirley Whitehead; sisters-in-law,
Virginia Miles and Carol Miles; special friend, Irene Guffey; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2013, at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel
with the interment to follow at Old Kagley’s Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make
donations to Old Kagley Cemetery Fund, c/o Brenda Self, 2210 Tipton Loop Road, Maryville, TN 37803.
