Michael Anthony Payne
Michael Anthony Payne, age 27, of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at the home of his mother. He was the world’s greatest father. He was a member of Laurel Bank Baptist Church. He loved to hunt and fish. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Paul Dotson; grandparents, Albert and Edna Mae Garland; uncles, Robert L. Palmer and Maynard Levi Payne; and cousin, Mark Anthony Payne. He is survived by his wife, Jessica Payne; sons, Michael “Bubba” Payne, Jr. and Hunter “Gavin” Payne; mother and stepfather, Christina Amburn and Richard Martin; father, Anthony Albert Payne; brothers and sisters-in-law, Willard and Shannon Payne, Christopher and Crystal Payne, Zachary Johnson, and Daniel Amburn; sister, Katelyn Johnson; grandparents, Clifford and Carolyn Payne and Dan and Mary Jenson; special aunt, Rhonda; special cousins, Jason and Mindy; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Pat and Kathy Dotson; special friends, John Ray, Matt Jones, Mike Allison, and Richard Amburn; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family. Funeral service will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, December 8, 2012, at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. David Caffee officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the funeral home to help offset expenses. Family and friends will gather 1 p.m. Sunday at Grandview Cemetery for the interment.
