Mrs. Denvalee ‘Deanie’ Morrison Spurlock
Mrs. Denvalee “Deanie” Morrison Spurlock of Maryville, formerly of Bay, Ark., departed this life Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at the Morningview Village Transitional Care Center in Maryville. She was born August 3, 1928, in Campbell, Ark., the daughter of late Dewey Morrison and Clara George Morrison. She was retired from Crane Company of Jonesboro, Ark., where she worked for 20 years. Deanie was a member of the Bay United Methodist Church. She is survived by her sister, Faye Sutterfield of Russellville, Ark.; four grandchildren, Tonya Spurlock Brinkley of Maryville, Rodney Spurlock of Venice, Fla., Donna Spurlock of Olive Branch, Miss., and Don Spurlock Jr. of Collierville, Tenn.; and five great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Myrtis Branscum and Maxine Horton; her brother, Samuel Morrison; her husband of 49 years, Royce Spurlock; and son Donnie Spurlock. Friends may visit with the family Saturday, December 29, 2012, from 5–7 p.m. at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home, 300 W. Matthews Avenue.
