Nancy Ruth Asbury
Nancy Ruth Asbury, age 66, of Friendsville, passed away Monday, February 25, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steven M. Asbury; and father-in-law, William D. Asbury. Nancy is survived by her daughters, April Payne and Brandy Whitehead; son-in-law, Jeff Whitehead; grandchildren, Blake Payne, Grace Whitehead, Abby Whitehead, Zoe Payne, Audrey Whitehead and Jackson Lewis; friend and caregiver, Mike Lewis; mother-in-law, June Asbury; and brothers-in-law, Jim Asbury and Scott Asbury. She will be sadly missed by her friends and family. Services will be held Friday, March 1, 2013, at Law’s Chapel Primitive Baptist Church, 3602 Laws Chapel Road, Maryville. Receiving of friends will be 5 p.m.-6:30 p.m., with the funeral to follow.
