Norma Jean Vernon Hawkins
Norma Jean Vernon Hawkins, age 73, of Maryville, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at home, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She retired from Walmart, enjoyed making crafts and sharing them with others. Survivors include husband, Paul Hawkins; brother, Harry Vernon; children, David Hawkins, Debbie Whorley, Rick French, Laura Ford, Beth Hawkins, Pattie French, and Cathie French-Tritel; grandchildren, Tina and Greg French, Nicole Hawkins, Isthmie and Shaun Whorley, Ben and Alex Ford. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 11 a.m. Friday, February 1, 2013, at Grandview Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Ronald Longmire officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m., Thursday, January 31, 2013, at Smith Trinity Chapel.
