Phil Evans
Phil Evans, age 60, of Greenback, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 28, 2013, at UT Medical Center. He was veteran of the U.S. Army, and retired as a self-employed long haul truck driver. He was preceded by his parents, Hugh and Georgia Evans. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Evans; stepchildren, Kendall, Crystal, Tiea; stepgranddaughter, Alanna Storm; brother, Chris Evans; sister, Ganna Kidd; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside service and interment will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, February 4, 2013, at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Family and friends will call at their convenience Saturday, 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. and again Sunday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville. 865-982-6041, http://www.millerfuneralhome.org
