Rafe Garland, Jr., age 76, of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rafe and Delia Garland, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Garland; sons and daughter-in-law, Michael and Rosemary Garland and David and Mildred Garland; and grandchildren, Brock Garland and Jesse, Maggie, and Garrett Garland. Special thanks to Blount Home Health and Hospice. Funeral service will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Carl White officiating. Family and friends will gather 11 a.m. Friday at Grandview Cemetery for the interment.
