Ralph Harold Law, Sr.
Ralph Harold Law, Sr., age 87, the last child of the family of H.L. and Cenith McGinley Law from Blount and Loudon County, has entered a new realm of God his heavenly father to join his parents; brothers, William, Earl, Roy, Fred and Glen; and sisters, Ruth McAlister, Grace York, Lucille Matthews, and LaVerne Clemmer. His living in-laws are Robert Clemmer and Sally Smelcer. He died at 4:02 on April 15, 2013. He leaves on earth his loving wife of 58 years, Floy Moore Law; his son, Ralph Harold Law, Jr. and his wife Karen Law, deceased 2012; grandson, Damon Law and wife Michelle and great-grandson, Peyton, all of Cape Coral, Fla.; grandson, Gabriel Law and wife Vanessa and great-grandson Gavin of Plant City, Fla.; son, Tony Law, wife Patti and granddaughters Rachel and Rebekah; and daughter, Bethany Wylie and husband “Neal” Wylie II, their daughter Kyra and son Anthony. He also leaves behind many loved nieces, nephews and cousins. He attended Everett High School. He served in the U.S. Navy in the Southern Pacific Theater during WWII. He led many young men as a scout master for both Troops 188 and 285 for a total of 38 years. He was owner and operator of Art By Law Signs and Display Service, where he did much of his work and taught commercial art classes. His work can still be seen throughout the region today. He retired from Proffitts, where he worked for 25+ years in the display department. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Keese officiating. The interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers send memorials to his lifelong beloved church where he was a dedicated worker for the Lord, Houston Memorial Presbyterian Church at 813 Front St., Maryville, TN 37804.
