Robert Carl Clevinger
Robert Carl Clevinger, age 69, of Maryville, died Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Mary Hull Clevinger of Bazetta, Ohio. Survivors include his wife, Liz Sterchak Clevinger. He was an enthusiastic fan of auto and motorcycle racing, traveling to over 3,500 events across the U. S., and attending several races in Australia. He had a very outgoing personality and sense of humor that everyone enjoyed. He attended Cortland High School and Ohio University and served two years as a medical instructor in the U.S. Army. He volunteered for 10 years at Help Hotline CONTACT Trumbull County. Liz really appreciates the care from Dr. Thomas Kubota and his nursing staff, the nurses at Blount Memorial Hospital Floor 5E, the critical care units and Blount Memorial Home Health.
