Robert Eugene Crisp

Robert Eugene Crisp, age 80, of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2013, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was born February 3, 1932, was a member of Four Mile Baptist Church and was retired from Tennessee Farmers Co-op (TENCO). Eugene served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by father and mother, Cam and Vola (Gribble) Crisp; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Andy and Tot Cummings; sister-in-law, June Blazier; and brother-in-law, Floyd Lee Coward. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Carolyn Cummings Crisp; sister, Betty Crisp Coward; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda (Crisp) and Jerry Alley; brother-in-law, Delmar Blazier; nieces and nephews, Sherri and Jason Pesterfield, Terri and Brent Best, Bethany Alley, Laura Blazier and Carl Blazier; his two great-nephews, who were the love of his life, Ethan Pesterfield and Austin Best; numerous cousins and friends. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Four Mile Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Bob Dalton officiating.
