Sally Kay Payne
Sally Kay Payne, age 67, passed away January 26, 2013, at UT Medical Center. Sally was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, crafts and caring for others. She was a LPN that retired from Blount Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by parents, M.A. and Nellie McCroskey; and son-in-law, Dennis Payne. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jim Payne; daughters and son-in-law, Mindy Payne, and Stephanie and Wesley Williams; beloved grandsons, Derrick and Tanner Payne, Thomas, John and James Williams; biological siblings, John and Wanda McCroskey, Dean and Bob Griffitts, Jack and Johnnie McCroskey, George and Dorothy McCroskey, Nell and Ed Kiger; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Judy Carter and Pam Murphy; and special cousin, Michaela McCroskey. The family requests all that desire may make memorial blood donations to Medic Regional Blood Center in Sally’s name.
