Thomas Jeffery ‘Jeff’ Abbott, 37, died Wednesday, November 21. 2012, of a massive heart attack at UT Hospital. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Lowell H. and Wilma F. Ridings, George W. and Anna Louise Abbott; beloved ‘son,’ Kevin Stinnett; sister, Wendy Abbott; and uncle, Buford R. Abbott. Jeff is survived by wife, Angie; mother, Mary E. Abbott; father, Thomas L. ‘Tony’ Abbott; brother, Michael D. Long; niece, Chezney Long; special ‘dad,’ Bob Tucker; uncles, Rudy and Shirley, Don and Edith, Jerry and Linda, George and Lesa Abbott; aunts, Anna Kay Morgan, Ruthie and Barry Groth; other uncles and aunt; many cousins and friends; special friends Melanna Woods and daughters Kayla and Madison, and Becky Peck and daughters Danielle and Courtney, and son, Corey, and Daryle and Erie Wilson. Family and friends will always remember Jeff for his sweet smile, his wonderfully loving heart, his love for hot rods, motorcycles and anything that went fast, and his talent for tattooing.
