Vera Ann Rogers Brittain, age 92, of Alcoa, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2012. Preceded in death by husband, Harold Brittain; parents, Marshall and Etta Rogers; son-in-law, Harold Joines. Survivors include daughter, Linda Joines of Alcoa; grandchildren, David and Sally Joines of Maryville and Deann Joines and fiancé Chris Kennedy of Vonore; great-grandchildren, Kelli Joines of Knoxville, Katie Beth, Allison and Jackson Joines of Maryville; sister, Betty Rogers of Maryville. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, November 17, 2012, at Sherwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Keith Johnson and Rev.
