Verlin Boyd Hubbs
Verlin Boyd Hubbs, age 69, of Maryville, passed away Friday, January 4, 2013, after a long battle with cancer. He was a member of Rio Church of Maryville. Preceded in death by parents, Newell and Juanita Hubbs. He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Tammy Hubbs; daughter and son-in-law, Tera and Jackie Stinnett; grandchildren, Keaton and Laiken Hubbs, Halie Stinnett; sister and brother-in-law, Violet and Don Smelser; brothers and sisters-in-law, Floyd and Charlotte Hubbs, Broadus and Linda Hubbs and Dwight and Connie Hubbs. The funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Hepperly officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Roseberry Cemetery for the interment at 11 a.m. with Military Honors provided by East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard.
