Virgil L. Dunlap
Virgil L. Dunlap, age 80, of Walland, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2012, at his home. Virgil was a member of Keebles Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. He worked at Royal Crown Bottling Company for 33 years, was the owner of Dad’s Place in Rockford, and enjoyed helping his boys with their Matco Tools Routes. He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Dunlap; parents, J. Will and Gally Dunlap; several brothers and sisters. Virgil is survived by his wife of 63 years, Selva Lou Dunlap; sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Yvonne Dunlap and Ronnie and Sylvia Dunlap; daughter, Glenda Bryant; grandchildren, Dustin Dunlap; Robbie and Heather Bryant, April Bryant, Janet and Jason Hutsell, Lindsey and Wesley Huskey; great-grandchildren, Isabella and Kamden Hutsell, Jackson Huskey and Hunner Bryant; sister, Gertrude Williamson; special friend, Roy Bailey. The family would like to thank UT Hospice and Home Care for all their help. Funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2012, in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Tim Martin officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at Grandview Cemetery for the Interment.
