Wanda Laverne (Boruff) Cooper James
Wanda Laverne (Boruff) Cooper James, 71, of Sweetwater, Tenn., passed away peacefully Monday, January 28, 2013, at Sweetwater Hospital. Ms. James was preceded in death by her parents, Brodie and Mildred Boruff of Friendsville. Laverne leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 40 years, Tony James, who was so lovingly dedicated to caring for her during these last years; three sons, Bryan Lynn Cooper, Brett Lee Cooper and Dennis L. Cooper, all of Maryville; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Fay and Ralph Payne and Bea and Don Potter, also of Maryville. At her request, Ms. James will be cremated. There will be no public visitation or services at this time.
