Wilma Renfro Mizell

Wilma Renfro Mizell, age 92, passed away Friday, November 9. 2012, in New Smyrna Beach, Fla. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold E. Mizell. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia Pack and Ted of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., Mary Ann and Mike Conley of St. Cloud, Fla.; sons and daughters-in-law, John and Elaine of Avondale Estates, Ga., and Dan and Kelli of Maryville; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren, all who loved and adore her; sister, Bonnie Merriman of Maryville; brothers, Jack and Larry Renfro of Maryville, and a hosts of friends. She was an active, lifelong member of Pecks Memorial Methodist Church. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She loved to travel and traveled extensively throughout the country, as well as to England and Africa. She enjoyed the outdoors, and loved walking in the mountains and on the Greenbelt. She was an avid fan of UT sports, especially the Lady Vols. She will be greatly missed by her family and a host of friends. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 19, 2012, at Pecks Memorial Methodist Church with a private internment to follow at 2 p.m. in Grandview Cemetery Rev. Tim Jones will officiate. In lieu of flowers, please make all donations (note on the check in memory of Wilma) to Pecks Memorial Methodist Church, 2348 Wilkerson Pike, Maryville, TN 37803
