Kathryn Derrell Taylor, of Knoxville, daughter of Stewart and Janice Taylor, of Maryville, was united in marriage with Christopher George Hickok, of Weaverville, N.C., son of Les and Donna Hickok, of Green Valley, Ariz., July 9 at Hot Springs, N.C. The Rev. Karen Nagle officiated.
London Hickok was flower girl.
Zachary Hickok, of Weaverville, N.C., was best man.
A reception was held at the Foundry, Knoxville.
After a wedding trip to New York City, the couple are living in Weaverville, N.C.
The bride is a graduate of Maryville High School. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism and a Master of Science degree in elementary education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She taught for 12 years at Karns Elementary School in Knox County.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Knoxville Catholic High School. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Master in Business Administration from Western Carolina University. He is a district manager for Pizza Hut.
