Molly Suzanne Mattson, of Greenville, S.C., daughter of Suzie and Gary Haley, of Winston-Salem, N.C., and John Mattson, of Chester, Va., was united in marriage with John Russell Hughes, of Greenville, S.C., son of Linda and Melvin Hughes, of Maryville, April 20 at Larkin’s Courtyard, Greenville, S.C. Darren Hook officiated.
Morgan Bradham and Deanna Sefcik, both of Greenville, S.C., were maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Kerri Hughes, sister of the bridegroom, of Maryville, Katherine Sutton and Erin Caldwell, both of Winston-Salem, N.C., Stephanie Gordon, of Clemson, S.C., Savannah Samuelson, of Charlotte, N.C., and Katy Mourning, of Greenville, S.C.
Justin Hughes, brother of the bridegroom, of Maryville, was best man. Groomsmen were Cory Everett and Andrew Hodge, both of Maryville, Rhett Brooks and D.J. Gordon, both of Clemson, S.C., Trey Robinson and Josh Corbett, both of Columbia, S.C., and Matthew Strickland, of Simpsonville, S.C.
A reception was held at Wyche Pavilion, Greenville, S.C.
After a wedding trip to Antigua, the couple are living in Greenville, S.C.
The bride received a Bachelor of Science degree in graphics communication from Clemson University. She is employed as digital asset coordinator with Erwin Penland Advertising in Greenville, S.C.
The bridegroom is a 2005 graduate of Maryville High School, received a Bachelor of Science degree in business and Southern studies from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Science degree in human resources from Clemson University. He is employed as employee relations administrator, EuroKera, Fountain Inn, S.C.
He is the grandson of Virginia Porter, of Maryville, the late John E. Porter and the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred R. Hughes.
