Hughes-Tipton
Heather Brooke Tipton, of Maryville, daughter of George and Joy Tipton, of Friendsville, was united in marriage with Jason Dale Hughes, of Maryville, son of Sam and Karen Hughes, of Maryville, Aug. 25 at Smithview Pavilion. The Rev. Celeste Anne Schroeder officiated.
Bridget Tipton, of Maryville, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Brianna Tipton and Lauren Hughes, both of Maryville. Janice Prince was wedding coordinator. Bonnie Bumbalaugh kept the bride’s book.
Travis Tipton, of Maryville, was best man. Groomsmen were Toki McCray and Jacob Passmore, both of Maryville.
A reception was held at Smithview Pavilion.
After a wedding trip to Negril, Jamaica, the couple are living in Maryville.
The bride attended the University of Tennessee. She is employed at Appalachian Development as an administrative assistant.
The bridegroom attended the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga, and Middle Tennessee State University. He is employed at Sky Firm as a principle talent acquisition specialist.
