Shirley-Curtis

Shelby Desirae Curtis, of Maryville, daughter of Lance and Jean Curtis, of Maryville, and Anna Curtis, of Friendsville, was united in marriage with C. William “Willie” Shirley, of Maryville, son of Darilyn Whitaker, of Maryville, and the late Doyle Shirley, Aug. 25 at the Life Event Center. Gary Farmer officiated.

Jamie Word-Jones, of Maryville, was matron of honor. Michella McLemore, of Maryville, was bridesmaid. A.J. Varner was ring bearer.

William Carter-Shirley, of Maryville, was best man. Alex Shirley, of Maryville, was groomsman.

A reception was held at the Life Event Center.

After a wedding trip to Pigeon Forge, the couple are living in Maryville.

The bride attended William Blount High School. She is a cashier/cook at Kenjo Market #41.

The bridegroom attended Sevier County High School. He is a contract foreman at Consper Corp.
