Blame game is avoiding issues
Dear Editor;
In his letter to the editor, R.A. Yates blamed Republicans for all our problems. As an American, I blame R.A. Yates’ attitude for our problems. I do not believe a white bear is any better than a black bear nor a black person any better than a white person or visa versa.
Did you know a bear of any color will defend his territory against anything except a skunk because of the high cost of getting even. Does it matter if all the soldiers that have died or are dying in battle were Democrat or Republican? Does a soldier’s race matter?
R.A. Yates blamed two unpaid for wars for our financial climate. They were paid for all right, with the blood of our men and women in uniform. Does it matter who is to blame for our present circumstances? We have an election upcoming and can vote out of office any skunks that are in office.
The blame game will get America nowhere. Getting even by talking or listening to those spewing hatred and race comments is perpetuating our present situation.
