Resident complimentary of medical care
Dear Editor:
On July 18, 2012, I had a total left-knee replacement at Blount Memorial Hospital. Dr. Kenneth Bell did my surgery. He says I am doing great. Dr. Bell is a wonderful orthopedic doctor, so caring, pleasant, and always smiling.
Then after leaving the hospital, I spent a few weeks at Blount Memorial TCC, at Morning View, for physical therapy. Tyson Bryan was my therapist. He did a wonderful job. He was really very patient with me, very caring and helpful, and always had a smile.
Having the knee replacement has completely changed my life. I can really walk fast now. I am pain free. I can do all the things I want to now. I love visiting the sick, and shut-ins at nursing homes, Blount Memorial Hospital, also Wellington Place Assisted Living. I like to do special things for them.
This involves lots of walking. I walk the indoor track every day at the First Baptist Church of Maryville, when the weather is bad. I walk the Greenbelt Park on nice days. I walk two miles a day now.
I want to thank Dr. Kenneth Bell for taking such good care of me. Also many thanks to Dr. Mark Green, who saw me in the hospital. Tyson Bryan, my physical therapist, all of my nurses, and all my very special and caring friends. Above all, for taking care of me.
