Ron Paul’s foreign policy is conservative

Dear Editor:

Ron Paul’s pro-peace message should be well received by a nation which has been at war for a decade. Sadly, “conservatives” in South Carolina reached an all-time low when they booed Ron Paul for suggesting that this nation adopt the Golden Rule in its foreign policy. Jesus made no exceptions to the Golden Rule for war and torture.

Paul believes in St. Augustine’s just war theory. So should conservatives.

Top intelligence officials have been clear that Iran doesn’t have a nuke. James Clapper, National Intelligence director, and former General Petraeus, now CIA Director, both told Congress this in January.

Paul is labeled an isolationist, when those who support sanctions are the isolationists. Paul is a non-interventionist. Michael Scheuer, former head of the CIA Osama Bin Laden Station, endorsed Ron Paul for president, because of his foreign policy. Visit his website www.non-intervention.com to learn why. The CIA admits that intervention causes blowblack. Learn why!

“Mr. Republican,” Senator Robert Taft, was a strong proponent of non-interventionism. Even President Eisenhower, who was hawkish, warned of the misplaced power in the military industrial complex in his farewell address. George W. Bush, ran as a non-interventionist, before lying about a mushroom cloud.

Active duty military members clearly support Paul’s foreign policy. Paul raised about triple the amount of money, from active military, that Obama raised and six times as much as the remaining Republican candidates, in the fourth quarter. Conservatives wake up! 87 percent of these Republican military donations are to Paul.

The Ron Paul presidential campaign changed my life four years ago because I met many good people and Ron Paul reminded me that it’s still conservative to not be a warmonger. Unfortunately, most “conservatives” have forgotten that. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God. Matthew 5:9.
