First Public Service Luncheon is success

Dear Editor:
As chairman of the United Way Public Service Division, I want to express my gratitude to the sponsors, volunteers and participants who made the first annual luncheon such a great success.
I would especially like to thank the representatives from Blount County government, City of Maryville and the City of Alcoa that worked so hard to put this event together. All of the proceeds will go to the Public Service Division of the United Way.
Again a heartfelt thanks to everyone that had a part in this event. I look forward to participating in this event next year.
