Greenback woman running for state representative seat
From Staff Reports
Tona Monroe-Ball, of Greenback, has announced she is seeking the Republican nomination for the 20th District state representative in the state primary election on Aug. 7.

Monroe-Ball runs a Web business selling natural medicine products and studies natural medicine. As an animal lover, she stays busy with dog rescue work, frequently taking in abandoned and unwanted dogs, according to her press release.
Troy Ball, her husband, served in the Air Force as a crew chief and is currently an aviation technician.

“Together we enjoy camping, hiking and exploring the mountains of East Tennessee,” Monroe-Ball said.

A member of the National Rifle Association, Monroe-Ball said she supports the Second Amendment and also supports health, freedom, motorist rights and safety, low taxation and responsible government spending.

“I will work to bring government accountability to the people and represent you in Nashville — not the lobbyist,” she said. “Please call me Tona (pronounced Tahnah).

I plan on getting to know you on a first-name basis. I respectfully ask for your vote, your confidence and your support in becoming your next state representative. Together, we can take back our lead role as citizens directing government. Your support is greatly appreciated.”

For more information, call Monroe-Ball at (865) 856-0814, by e-mail at tona@votetona.org and through her Web site at www.votetona.org.
