Broadway to hold Vacation Bible School
Broadway Baptist Church in Maryville will be holding Vacation Bible School from June 22-26, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. each day.

The theme this year is "Boomerang Express." The Bible school is for children in pre-kindergarten through sixth grade.

The WordPlayers will present "The Magician's Nephew," by C.S. Lewis and dramatized by Aurand Harris, June 19, 20, 25, 26 and 27 at 7:30 p.m. and on June 24 and 27 at 2 p.m. at the WordPlayers' Theater, 1540 Robinson Road in Knoxville.

Heritage High School Choral Department will present the musical "Grease," at 7 p.m. today and at 4 p.m. Sunday in the school auditorium. Tickets at the door are $5 for students and $6 for adults.

The presentation will feature Russell Sparks as Danny, Airlia Pritchett as Sandy and Choral Director Mr. Clift as Teen Angel.

The Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority and the Arts & Cultural Alliance of Greater Knoxville are presenting Arts in the Airport, a new exhibition featuring selected artwork from 27 artists in Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky and North Carolina. The exhibit will be on display through Oct. 29 in the secured area behind McGhee Tyson Airport's security gate checkpoint.
