Garner-Chapman

Sarah Margaret Chapman, daughter of Jim and Susan Chapman, of Maryville, was united in marriage with Michael Preston Garner, son of Michael and Tonia Garner, of Louisville, at 2 p.m. April 18 at Zion Chapel Baptist Church in Louisville. The Rev. Jerry Garner, the Rev. Larry Lewis and the Rev. Clarence Byrd officiated.

Kim Martin, of Maryville, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Christina Simerly, of Rockford, Amanda Flynn, of Rockford, Kristina Lewis, of Knoxville, and Hannah Strange, of Knoxville.Brayleigh Garner was flower girl. Christopher Lewis and Coty Hillis kept the bride's book.

Brian Burchfield, of Surgoinsville, served as best man. Groomsmen were Derek Parker, of Spartanburg, S.C., Gary Winningham, of Cookeville, Daniel Lewis, of Knoxville, and Taylor Strange, of Knoxville.

A reception hosted by Tonya Lewis was held in the church family life center.

After a wedding trip to California and Nevada, the couple are living in Maryville.

The bride is a graduate of Heritage High School and is a full-time student at Tusculum College. She is employed at Great Beginnings Child Care and Learning Center.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Apostolic Christian Academy. He is employed in route sales for ICEE Co.
