Rachel Lynn Arp, of Maryville, daughter of Clara Arp, of Maryville, and the late Donald Arp, was united in marriage with Derek Patrick Dennis, of Maryville, son of Richard and Suzanne Dennis, of Maryville, at 5 p.m. May 16 at Cornerstone Fellowship Church, Alcoa. The Rev. Ronald Longmire officiated.
Christina Arp, of Maryville, was matron of honor. Elizabeth Arp was flower girl. Bryce Arp was ring bearer.Barrett Dennis, of Maryville, was best man.
A reception hosted by the parents of the bridegroom was held at Miss Olivia's Table.
The bride received a Bachelor of Science degree in advertising from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 2002. She is currently in school at Blount Memorial Hospital to become a licensed practical nurse.
The bridegroom is working toward an associate degree in video production at Pellissippi State Technical Community College.
