Thorntons celebrate 60th anniversary

Lloyd and Donna (Collins) Thornton, of Alcoa, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary June 23.

The couple were married June 23, 1949.

Their family includes children Christy Bradburn, Meloni Bradburn, Shawn Thornton, Robin Curtis and Kari Martin, all of Maryville. They have 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Thornton is retired from the United States Air Force.
