Lori Beth Murr, daughter of Ricky and Nora Murr, of Rockford, is engaged to marry Randall Scott Welch, son of Randy and Susan Welch, of Rockford, at 7:30 p.m. July 11 at Smithview Pavilion. Friends and relatives are invited to attend.

The future bride is the granddaughter of Cleo Self, of Rockford, the late Austin Self, and Fred and Bobbie Murr, of Rockford.

The future bridegroom is the grandson of Charles and Barbara Murrell, of Maryville, Ruth Welch Wilson, of Maryville, and the late Grady Welch.

The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Family Christian Academy. She is employed at Puleo's Grille.

The bridegroom-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Heritage High School. He is employed as assistant manager at GameStop.
