Sabrina Raye Hudson, daughter of Jerry and Yvonne Shelgren, of Maryville, is engaged to marry James Elisha Manis, son of James and Marcia Manis, of Rogersville, at 2 p.m. Sept. 26 at Fairview United Methodist Church. A reception will follow at Beech Grove Baptist Church. Invitations will be sent.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Charles and Sandra Mudd, of Colonial Beach, Va., Shirley Speedy, of Troy, N.Y., and the late Donald Shelgren.
The future bridegroom is the grandson of the late Veta Mae Price and the late Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Manis.
The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Maryville High School and will graduate from Tusculum College in December with a degree in business. She is a sales associate for Dandy Lions in Maryville.
The bridegroom-to-be is a 2000 graduate of Cherokee High School and attends Pellissippi State Technical Community College. He is youth minister at Beech Grove Baptist Church, Louisville.
