Guild offers free adult sewing classes

The American Sewing Guild is offering a series of two free sewing classes for adult 4-H volunteers. The dates are Aug. 29 and Sept. 12, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. A cushion tote bag will be made on Aug. 29. Pajamas will be made on Sept. 12.

Participants are asked to bring a sack lunch. The American Sewing Guild will provide drinks and desserts. Sewing machines will be furnished.

The deadline to register is July 26. To register, call the 4-H office at 982-6430.
