Days dwindling for Greenback School's senior class

By Samuel Jackson

Lately at Greenback the sight of smiles on seniors' faces is very common. As of today seniors have three days of classes remaining. Seniors have been hard at work finishing classes, taking finals and making the last few memories.

During the month of April, the senior class took a trip to Atlanta. While there students visited Six Flags, The Atlanta Aquarium, and the World of Coke.

Sunday, the class of 2008 attended a Baccalaureate service at Niles Ferry Baptist Church. Students shared prayers, scripture, and music with their classmates, family and friends.

Friday is the final day for seniors. During this day seniors will be honored with a final lunch of steak and shrimp, a tradition for the final day.

This year 15 seniors have grown together in the four halls of Greenback. Greenback is such a unique place where students have a rare opportunity to grow and make lifelong friends.

On May 17 at 10 a.m. students will become one of 87 classes to take the coveted walk and sing the alma mater to praise the school that has help them grow and prepare them for the next step in life, wherever it may be.
