A local provider of equine experiential programs, Maryville resident, Dr. Linda Pucci, is a founding members of a new association, called the Equine Experiential Education Association (E3A). This organization, which has formed to support professionals worldwide, applies lessons from the horse/human connection to the fields of education, corporate training, experiential education and coaching. The goal of E3A is to use experiential learning experiences with horses to facilitate innovative individual and team learning. E3A will offer training, certification, and other resources to support professionals in their E3A businesses through two tracks, one for educators working with students, and another for trainers, facilitators, and coaches working in business and corporate environments.
Pucci, a psychologist and life coach at Inner Resource Center LLC, in Maryville, has provided workshops and corporate training with horses since 2002. She partners with Pam Salem, Horizon Farm Equine Growth and Learning Center, Seymour. Together they provide workshops and training which allow participants to gain "aha's" through their interactions with the horses and each other.
The unmounted experiences with horses provide a fun and unique learning experience that builds skills in the areas of problem solving, communication, relationships and goal-setting. The horse/human connection empowers change and builds self-confidence.
