A special team of tour guides for the Foothills Fall Festival is being established in memory of a dedicated volunteer.
Sharon Zesut, a Maryville real estate broker, died in April at age 60.
"She was a dedicated volunteer for the festival, and her enthusiasm and smile will be missed," said Jane Groff, festival events coordinator.
A group of Zesut's real estate associates have established the Z-Team to work at the festival Oct. 10-12 in her honor. Z-Team members will be tour guides for folks riding the bus to the festival from Foothills Mall.
Team members, wearing a vest and company name badge, will provide information about the festival and the area to festival-goers. They will also obtain information from visitors to help festival coordinators in planning.
Volunteers get a free ticket to the festival, food and drink for the day and can purchase two more tickets at a reduced rate.
Membership is being offered to all real estate agents and staff in Blount County.
Jackie North, of Century 21 Real Estate Group, is Z-Team coordinator. For more information, call the festival office at 273-3445.
